- Across the Nullabor -
Yes - on the road again, this time
southern part of Australia west of
Adelaide.  Most people call this road
the Nullabor Highway but the
Nullabor is really only a very short
section of this long road.

Many people are now familiar with
the voice of a satellite navigation
system such as Navman.  "In 100
metres turn right" "Continue for 20
kilometre" and so on.  Where else
int he world would your system say
"Turn right in 1260 kilometres"
except on the Eyre Highway, just out
of Norseman?

Please enjoy some of the sights we
encountered.
There were a lot of sightings of the magnificent eagles.  The trick was
to get close enough for photos.  I was pleased with results.
We camped overnight near the Old Telegraph Station near Eucla and enjoyed the beach, the sand dunes and the old wharf.
After refuelling with the big guys at Eucla, we move on.
I hope you enjoy the scenery.
Have a look at the fragile overhang [or undercut].  No wonder
they say 'stay away from the edge'.
At onew point, I decided to follow one of the many dirt tracks, off the highway, towards the water.  I didn't gind the beach itself, but after parking and walking, I did find more sand dunes.

Ceduna.
The car park to  this isolated church
just before Ceduna seemed a likely
spot for a few hours but the flies were
intolerable so we soon left.
