Angus is my little man. He was born at the very end of 2005. I was top
of the waiting list for a male and it turned out that his mother Poppy only
had one puppy this time. With only this one puppy, I was pleased to
learn that I would still have him. He apparently had all the good
qualities of a whole litter all to himself and I was talked into letting
Amanda show him and make him available for stud work. This opened
up a whole new world to me. One that I could actually do without, but I
do enjoy the camping and the social interaction on the peripheral of the
dog showing world and although it really does not make any difference
to Angus or me [except for the stud fee potential], Amanda is very proud
- as she should be because she had done ALL of the work.
Angus finally came of age at three and a half, when he finally decided
to 'come' on my command. They say this can take a while for Westies
but he really took his time. Having crossed that hurdle, Angus has
developed into a wonderful, loyal companion who does everything I ask
of him, providing I ask nicely.
His favourite place is the beach and now that he is more controllable
we both get enormous joy with him running loose.
There are more photos of Angus on his page contained on the
Redinbrin Kennels website and there is also a special page showing
Angus in different situations on his travels around Australia. Click here
for that page.
I hope you enjoy his antics.
The beach is his favourite place and I think it shows
